Kellogg is a K-6 public elementary school located in Goleta, California, serving approximately 450 students. We have a diverse student population and strong parent and community involvement. Kellogg provides students with a well-rounded education, including instruction in science, computer labs, school garden, physical education, library, music and art.
School Accountability Report Card
The School Accountability Report Card (SARC) is a document that is required by California public and nonpublic, nonsectarian schools and provides annual information to the community regarding student achievement, environment, resources and demographics.
All Kellogg teachers are fully credentialed. Class sizes are at or under 20 students per class in the K-3 grades, with an average class size of 24.8 in grades 4-6.
During the 2010 – 2011 school year (the most recent data available), over 80% of Kellogg students scored at the proficient or advanced level in all three core state standards areas (English/Language Arts, Mathematics, and Science), and the Academic Performance Index rank placed us in the top 10% of elementary schools in California. This last spring, Kellogg received a 2012 California Distinguished School award.
