As our weather turns cool with the changing of the season, Kellogg has much to offer this month. Mark your calendar for our October 13 Science Night – an evening with plenty of hands-on learning opportunities thanks to the help of community members and staff. On October 20th not only will students be dismissed at 12:00, but we will be participating in the California Great-Shakeout Disaster Drill prior to dismissal. Be sure to review this month’s newsletter to see what procedures are in place in case a natural disaster were to happen. If your child misses their class photo (10/5, 10/6, or 10/7) the make up date for the individual picture will be 10/14. Our annual Halloween Parade is scheduled to begin at 8:40AM on Monday, 10/31. Check for the map of which classrooms our parade will be walking through this year.
Finally consider participating in Kellogg’s Annual Giving Campaign. This a great way to ensure Kellogg’s programming continues to operate at such a high level. Pamphlets have been sent home highlight the different opportunities our Kellogg PTA are able to provide for all of our students. As always, please contact the office if you have any questions or are wanting to find ways to contribute your time or efforts toward our Kellogg students and staff.
